My friend and I, Amanda Van Sickle, Mrs. Kaufman County America 2015, will be running the 5k this weekend at the Hotcake Hustle! This is a fundraiser for Operation Kindness...its the original and largest no-kill shelter in North Texas. They've been "Saving Lives – One Animal at a Time" for over almost 40 years. They care for approximately 300 animals on a day-to-day basis, with another 100 animals in foster homes. More than 3,000 dogs and cats are assisted by Operation Kindness each year. Want to help?
